Best B&B In Dingle | My Top Bed and Breakfast Picks in Dingle
We all know about Dingle, don’t we? This lively little town on the famous Dingle Peninsula has captured the hearts of visitors for decades — and for good reason. With jaw-dropping scenery, charming old pubs, Minard Castle ruins, and unforgettable drives along Slea Head, it’s a spot that lingers in your memory long after you’ve left.
And what better way to truly experience the warmth and spirit of Dingle than by staying in a welcoming local B&B? I’ve stayed in several over the years — some recommended by friends, others stumbled upon during last-minute bookings — and in this guide, I’ll share my top B&B picks in Dingle based on personal stays, good chats with locals, and reliable reviews.
So, if you’re planning a weekend escape or a full-on Wild Atlantic Way road trip, here are the B&Bs in Dingle you should know about.
Dingle Garden Townhouse
When it comes to location, you’ll struggle to beat Dingle Garden Townhouse. Set in a beautifully restored historic building right in the heart of Dingle town, it’s just an 8–10 minute walk from Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium and around the corner from the lively pubs and artisan shops.
I stayed here on a rainy autumn weekend, and the cozy, peaceful vibe was exactly what I needed. The rooms were spotless — bright, modern, and surprisingly spacious. Expect plush beds, flat-screen TVs, modern bathrooms, and a little seating area perfect for your morning cuppa.
But the highlight for me was the tranquil garden. Surrounded by stone walls, it’s like a secret pocket of calm right in town. The breakfasts were another win — locally sourced, cooked to perfection, with proper coffee and warm, flaky scones.
Hosts Deirdre and Fergal were stars, offering plenty of local tips (they even run a cultural magazine in town!). Whether you’re after scenic walks or the best spot for traditional music, they know the place inside out.

Tower View Bed and Breakfast
This one’s a gem if you want a quiet stay with scenic views but still be within a short walk of Dingle’s pubs and restaurants. It’s about a 10-minute walk into town — just far enough for peace, but close enough for a quick evening stroll.
The rooms at Tower View B&B are comfortably decorated, some with views of Dingle Bay and the rolling countryside. There’s a little reading room too, with books, a telescope, and even outdoor play equipment if you’re travelling with kids.
Breakfast was top-notch. I tried the smoked salmon eggs Benedict (as recommended by several guests online) and honestly, it might be one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a B&B in Ireland. There’s also a buffet with fresh fruits, cheeses, granola, and homemade cakes.
The hosts here were incredibly warm- offering lift tips, recommending sea view pubs, and sharing local lore about the Dingle Peninsula. It felt more like staying with family friends than in a guesthouse.

Cill Bhreac House B&B
Another favourite, especially if you love sea views and hiking trails. Cill Bhreac House sits just outside Dingle town, a scenic 10-minute walk along the waterfront. It’s also a stone’s throw from The Dingle Way walking trail, making it a dream spot for walkers.
The rooms are beautifully themed — I stayed in a nautical-inspired room with crisp white bedding, a cozy armchair, and a killer view of Dingle Bay. Bonus points for the electric blankets and locally baked biscuits in the room!
Breakfast here was next level. Alongside the traditional Irish fry, they serve porridge with Bailey’s cream, homemade fruit pancakes, and locally smoked salmon. The sunroom dining area made mornings feel bright and leisurely, even when it was drizzly outside.
Owners Orla and Ronan deserve every award they’ve earned (and there’s a lot!). Warm, genuine, and full of brilliant local recommendations.

Half Door House
One of the newer discoveries on my last trip, Half Door House sits about 1.4 km from Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium and offers some of the best sea views you’ll find in town.
It’s a homely, modern B&B with big comfy beds, sleek bathrooms, and the friendliest hosts you could meet. Dennis and Teressa used to run a well-loved restaurant in Dingle (which their son now heads), so you can bet the breakfasts are outrageously good — think herby omelettes, smoked fish, and fluffy scones.
You’ll find benches outside facing the bay, a lovely garden, and a cozy coffee nook for rainy afternoons. The location’s spot-on too — a short walk to Dingle town but just far enough for a quiet evening by the water.

O’Neill’s Bed and Breakfast
If you’re after a classic, central B&B experience, O’Neill’s is it. Just off Main Street in Dingle, you’re within stumbling distance of the best pubs (hello, Dick Mack’s!) and restaurants, yet the rooms are wonderfully peaceful.
Stephen, the host, couldn’t be more accommodating. On my stay, he welcomed me with a slice of fresh carrot cake and a cuppa. It’s those small, thoughtful gestures that stay with you.
Rooms are spotless and simply furnished with comfy beds, walk-in showers, smart TVs, and fast WiFi. Breakfast is a hearty, home-cooked affair — the homemade scones and black pudding were my highlights.
A fab option if you want affordable, central, no-fuss comfort with a proper Irish welcome.

So there you have it — my top five B&B picks in Dingle. Of course, there are dozens more to choose from. I’ve heard great things about An Capall Dubh B&B, Murphy’s B&B, and Short Strand Dingle too, and they’re next on my list to check out.
